CHORDMILL is a versatile music application suited for music students, teachers, professionals, and enthusiasts of all instruments and vocal ranges. It offers a swift circle of fifths feature to construct unique soundscapes. Through simple clicks on the circle, users can effortlessly create chord progressions for musical practice.
The platform emphasizes concise musical sequences ranging from 4 to 12 measures in all 12 keys. These sequences are meticulously crafted with diverse grooves, providing a practical tool for practicing. The inclusion of repeat functionality allows for seamless use of these sequences during practice sessions.
Unlike basic transposing methods, CHORDMILL meticulously records samples in each key with professional studio equipment, ensuring an authentic band experience. Users can save preferred playbacks in the "Favorites" menu and make adjustments to tempo, tuning, and transposition in the "Settings" section.
CHORDMILL is structured into six primary categories:

<li>CHORDS: Focuses on training scales, accompaniment, and improvisation with common chords.</li>
<li>CHORD PROGRESSIONS: Explores advanced accompaniment by combining chords into progressions.</li>
<li>POP PROGRESSIONS: Introduces key pop music chord progressions for melody experiments.</li>
<li>JAZZ TURNAROUNDS: Enhances chord knowledge with classic jazz standard progressions.</li>
<li>BLUES: Ignites various blues styles like Slow Blues, Jazz Blues, New Orleans Blues, and Minor Blues.</li>
<li>TUNES: Original compositions offered in different versions for instrumental or vocal exploration.</li>
</ul>
The latest updates include the addition of a "Drum-Button" at the center of the circle of fifths for drumless groove samples (included in the basic version) and a new metronome feature. Sheet music can be accessed for free on the official website along with supplementary instructions and learning materials to elevate musical skills. Additionally, professionally notated tunes cater to transposing instruments.
